It takes a little time to set up a blog, especially when doing it at ones leisure, and when so much has changed with blogger since I've been absent. I find myself excited to see where it takes me and relieved that facebook is out of my life. I have found that although facebook was a really great idea for people in theory, it has become something that actually harms them in practice.
My favorite thing about my facebook experience was reconnecting with old friends and 'penpals' from my blogging and tumblr days. I'm hoping that most will stay in touch through this new medium, all one needs is a gmail account to comment, this shouldn't be a big deal. I think I actually am already feeling like myself again, complete with the license to have fun!
